Good News for December 8th

Today, December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception (Masses are at 8 am and 10:30 am). We rejoice in God preserving Mary from Original Sin and also rejoice in the amazing ways God gives us to draw us away from sin and heal the wounds that lead us to choose sin. Learn more about the Doctrine of Mary's Immaculate Conception. This Sunday (Dec. 12th) is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe which recalls Mary's appearing to a group of indigenous people (and her appearing as an indigenous woman). Mary is a model of faith, hope, and love. Learn more about the article of clothing on which Mary appeared as part of the experience (it can still be seen in Mexico City).
