There are many ways to become involved with this exciting effort in the City of Philadelphia:
- PRAY that the hearts of Philadelphians are opened to the possibility of change! Throughout history God has transformed people and nations. God can do amazing things in our City and so become a “prayer warrior” seeking the grace that we do not ruin God’s plans!
- Join our Local Organizing Committee (LOC) which is our team of Saint Raymond Parishioners who work with members of Saint Therese and Woodcrest UCC for issues that impact our own neighborhood. You will attend local and city wide meetings, receive necessary training and be an instrument for change in our city!
- Attend city wide gatherings to be a part of the voice of our City demanding change, increased accountability and opportunities for prosperity for all Philadelphians.
- Participate in the One on One Conversations that members of our Local Organizing Committee (LOC) conduct on a regular basis. The 30 minutes you spend sharing your hopes and fears will be a tremendous gift.
- STAY INFORMED by reading the P.O.W.E.R. Bulletin Board in the back of Church, checking this section of our website and asking questions of the members of our LOC in Church on weekends.
