Bible Study & Adult Catechism

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study meets most Tuesdays from September to June at 1:30 in the Rectory Basement.  This Bible Study examines the readings for the following Sunday in an informative and lively manor.  All are welcome – readings and handouts are provided.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study meets on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of the Month in the Rectory Basement at 7:00pm.  This Bible Study chooses a book of the Bible and studies it over 6 to 8 weeks.  From September 2009 to September 2010 the group is studying the US Bishop’s Adult Catechism, choosing a topic each week.  All are invited, the Adult Catechism is available for $15.

St. Raymond Parish sponsors students to attend the Church Ministry Institute of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the Certificate in Ministry to African American Catholics as well as Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary (Certifiates, Undergraduate or Graduate Programs).  Scholarships are available for these classes though the Martin de Porres Foundation.
